The Giving Guide will be a compendium of West Michigan-based charity organizations, foundations, fundraising entities and non-profit organizations published in a glossy, magazine-style format. Each non-profit organization will receive a two-page spread representation in the Guide co-opt by the Grand Rapids Business Journal, whereas the GRBJ will pay the cost of one page of the two-page spread.
The Giving Guide will be published and inserted in the Grand Rapids Business Journal on November 13, 2017. AFPWM will be holding their 31st annual awards and recognition program at the Amway on November 15, 2017. Local business leaders and charity contributors will benefit by gaining greater understanding of local charity and non-profit organizations, while participants will gain by highlighting their mission, events, and myriad ways they contribute to the community.

Left hand page is a templated format for name of the organization, contact info, President/CEO, year established, service area, mission statement, fundraising events, volunteer opportunities, and giving opportunities. The right hand page is reserved for standard advertisement.

Giving Guide Profile Submission Instructions
After you’ve secured your space in our 2017 Giving Guide, please include the following copy in the body of an email:

*Not required, but please remember that we will not extend the character count for your other sections if you decide not to include your board of directors.
In addition, please attach a copy of your logo, your page sponsor’s logo (if you have one), and a photo if you’d like to include one in your profile.
What you'll need
1. Your Organization Logo
Logos must meet print criteria:
1) Logos should be vector .eps, .jpeg, .tiff or .pdf files.
2) Logos should have a resolution of 300 dpi or greater
(vector files excluded).
2. Executive Leadership Headshots (2 maximum)
300 dpi jpg files. Please name these files first name_last name. ex: “john_smith.jpg” You will submit names and titles when you complete your profile information form online.

High resolution files are necessary for photos to print well:
1) Photos should be .jpg or .tiff files with a resolution somewhere around 300 dpi.
2) Please do not send photos embedded into Word documents or photos that have been optimized for the internet (this decreases the resolution).
