MUSKEGON — Baker College of Muskegon reports that enrollment for its spring quarter continues through the first week of classes, which starts April 1.

Spring quarter is an excellent time to begin a new venture in higher education, said Rick Amidon, Ph.D., president of the local campus.

Fall isn’t the only time Baker enrolls new students. We educate and train people for careers year around.

Amidon said new and returning Baker College students can choose from a variety of academic programs in high-demand fields. In addition to spring quarter registration, the Muskegon campus is also accepting registrations for its new teacher preparation program beginning fall quarter 2002.

Baker advises that many financial aid packages are available to its students, including scholarships, grants, low-interest loans, and work study programs.

More information about financial aid or class registration is available by calling the campus admissions office at (231) 777-5200.

The largest private college in Michigan, Baker College is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

It is a non-profit college, serving more than 21,000 students on 11 campuses and in four satellite locations.

Baker grants certificates, associates, bachelors, and masters degrees in business, health and human services, education and technical fields.

Baker claims it has a graduate employment rate of 99.7 percent. For more information about Baker College, check out the college’s Web site at www.baker.edu.
