HOLLAND — The recent merger of Adventures in Advertising Franchise Inc. and Wisconsin-based 4imprint has rippled down to Holland.

The transaction makes 4imprint the fifth-largest promotional product distributor in the world.

“Becoming part of the 4imprint group benefits our Adventures in Advertising franchise in several ways,” said President Mike Freestone. “It opens up more ordering and distribution options to our customers and enhances our ability to be even more competitive with pricing.”

4imprint, North America’s seventh-largest distributor of imprinted promotional products, is headquartered in Oshkosh and has offices in the United Kingdom, Germany, France and Hong Kong. The 15-year-old company serves more than 150,000 corporate customers worldwide, including all of the Fortune 100 companies. 4imprint is a part of the 4imprint Group PLC, a Manchester, U.K.-based supplier of marketing and promotional products.

Freestone’s Adventures in Advertising franchise specializes in branding promotional items and materials such as golf shirts and mouse pads with corporate logos. The firm will now have access to the resources of a combined organization, which includes more than 400 franchised distributors in the U.S. and 600 associates worldwide with total billings exceeding $225 million.

Adventures in Advertising Franchise Inc., based in Quincy, Mass., is an international network of individually owned and operated professional, promotional product and corporate apparel distributorships. The company, founded in 1981, began franchising in 1994 and has over 400 franchises across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.

Freestone said the integration will appear seamless to his clients and that his company name, location and ownership will remain the same.

“Our customers will continue to experience the high level of local service to which they are accustomed,” he said. “This new partnership will bring advanced technological resources and additional capital into our franchise network, enabling our Holland-based franchise to provide our customers with additional services in the near future.”

Freestone and the Adventures in Advertising staff develop strategic marketing plans utilizing proven promotional products, apparel and specialty advertising techniques.

Through the company’s international network and local service, it assists businesses of all sizes in identifying the most creative and suitable promotional products and the best strategy for delivering the messages to the target audience. With over 13 years in the industry, Freestone opened the local Adventures in Advertising franchise in Holland in 1999.
