Manufactures Releases New Seats
GRAND RAPIDS — American Seating last month announced the release of its Acton caster base chair and high stool.
Both devices, part of American Seating's Acton Stacker line, feature telescoping center posts and identical 5-arm caster legs. The higher chair, designed for training and lecture rooms and laboratories, also has a footrest ring.
The firm's market manager, Bill Mitchell, says the new products are versatile, very comfortable and available in numerous color and fabrics.
He said the new designs are a response to facility planners' requests for a portable complement to the firm's Acton sled, swing-away and tablet armchairs.
American Seating specializes in stadium, arena, auditorium and educational seating, plus contract office furniture and transportation seating.
