ADA — Independent Business Owners (IBOs) powered by Quixtar helped the company smash its single-day sales record with sales of more than $10.5 million on March 31. These sales surpassed the company’s previous best sales day of $8.3 million by 27 percent.

“This is the result of thousands upon thousands of Quixtar-powered IBOs focusing on their business goals and continuing to build strong businesses,” said Ken McDonald, Quixtar’s managing director. “We continue to experience significant growth as IBOs build strong businesses for themselves. As a result, we’re tracking toward another record sales year for Quixtar.”

Quixtar remains on track to outperform its previous fiscal year, when it reported revenues of $901 million, plus an additional $57 million in revenues generated by IBOs for Quixtar’s online Partner Stores, ranging from KBtoys.com to OfficeMax.com.

Quixtar’s business model rewards IBOs for sales to those they have registered at www.Quixtar.com as new IBOs, members or clients. For their efforts last year, IBOs earned more than $282 million in bonuses and incentives. In Quixtar’s first three years, McDonald said, IBOs generated $2.1 billion in sales for Quixtar plus nearly $200 million for Partner Stores, earning more than $655 million in bonuses and incentives.
