Home Parade Called Successful
The Spring Parade, which this year was sponsored by Standard Federal Bank, was touted as a “huge success” by the HBAGGR. According to the association, an average of 1,751 visitors went through each home; each adult ticket holder visited an average of 14 homes; and 20,565 total tickets were sold, representing a 10 percent increase from last year’s numbers.
More than 110 nonprofit organizations staffed the various homes and earned $76,810.80 from ticket sales to the Spring Parade. Over the past 10 years, more than $1.9 million has been given to the nonprofit organizations that staff the homes, sell tickets and keep a tally of visitors.
Additionally, HBAGGR reports 930,294 hits were recorded on the organization’s Web site during the month of May. Information on the few homes left unsold from the Spring Parade is available at www.hbaggr.com
The eighth annual Fall Parade of Homes is scheduled for Sept. 26-Oct. 11.
