MUSKEGON — A West Michigan businesses are now being offered Web design and hosting services right in their own backyards, with Next I.T.

Next I.T., a Muskegon consulting company, has announced the addition of its full featured Web services department, where it will offer high-quality Web design and hosting to the West Michigan market.

“New customers are shocked to hear we are from Muskegon — everybody used to think you had to go to Grand Rapids and pay lots of money for technology,” said Brad Williams, partner with Next I.T.

The company will now design business Web sites from basic informational sites up to extensive E-commerce sites with on-line shopping carts and databases.

“Most Web companies just design,” said Eric Ringelberg, partner. “We recognize that great Web sites are only as good as the customers that get to it.”

With prices starting at just under $15 per month, Next I.T’s Web hosting services feature e-mail accounts, active server pages, PHP, CGI and SSL Certificates.

Ther partners say all hosted Web sites include control panels for easier management and optional features include Web site statistics and My Sql or Microsoft SQL server databases.

“Many Muskegon-area Web designers host their customers’ Web sites with someone else whether it’s in Idaho or North Carolina,” Ringelbergsaid.

“We have found the best way to serve our customers is to actually host the Web sites in house.”
