Business Awards On Tap Thursday

GRAND RAPIDS — Neighborhood business owners across 20 of the city’s business districts will be honored Thursday for the 14th consecutive year.

The event, known as the Neighborhood Business Awards, will be held in the Loosemore Auditorium in the Richard M. DeVos Center on the GVSU downtown campus from 5:30-8 p.m. The award presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. and Mayor John Logie will announce the winners.

The ceremony is hosted annually by the Neighborhood Business Alliance. Blue Cross Blue Shield and Huntington National Bank are the event’s lead sponsors. Standard Federal Bank is sponsoring this year’s Grand Award.

The event is open to the public at no charge and reservations aren’t necessary.
