MDOT Sets M-91 Public Meeting

GREENVILLE — The Michigan Department of Transportation invites Greenville and Eureka Township residents — along with any interested motorists who use M-91 — to a public information meeting Tuesday, March 23.

The session will outline for residents the second and final season of resurfacing and reconstruction of a 2.8-mile stretch of M-91 from Snows Lake Road north to Benton Street.

Last year, the $3 million project involved a 2.2-mile stretch of M-91.

According to MDOT, this season’s phase of the project will involve a much shorter distance — six-tenths of a mile of M-91 from Sunnyside Court to Benton Street.

The project is scheduled to begin in April with completion anticipated in July.

MDOT said the public information meeting — to cover phasing and detours — is to run 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 23, at the Greenville Community Center, 900 Kent St., in Greenville.
