BYRON CENTER — Chicago-based NES Rentals, one of the nation’s largest full-service equipment rental companies, recently announced that it has invested more than $6 million in new rental equipment for its Byron Center branch over the last 18 months.

“Our investments in new rental equipment will help the local NES branch service Byron Center-area construction and industrial companies,” stated Linda VanNest, Bryon Center branch manager.

The increase in rental fleet equipment at the Byron Center branch is part of a larger campaign by NES Rentals Holdings. Over the same time period, the construction industry’s second largest supplier of safety services has invested more than $150 million among its 130-location, 34-state chain.

“We continue to see steady recovery in our industry as the U.S. economy improves,” stated NES Rentals President and CEO Andrew Studdert. “New equipment investments for the local branches are driven by our desire to continuously improve service levels for our customers.”

Major investments have been made in all product categories, including booms, scissor lifts, rough terrain forklifts, earthmoving equipment, cranes, mobile liquid/solid storage containers, material handling equipment, compressors, generators, traffic safety equipment, and specialty construction and industrial materials.
