GRAND RAPIDS — The Great Lakes Entrepreneur’s Quest (GLEQ) will continue its fall program for entrepreneurs with more business commercialization topics at its “Go To Market Sales Strategy” seminar from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 8, at the DeVos Center at Grand Valley State University.

David Brenner, managing partner of IdeaWorks, an entrepreneurial senior executive with almost 30 years of domestic and international experience in leading successful startup, high-growth and turnaround companies, acquisitions, partnerships and divestitures, will relate his startup sales experiences, provide a structured view of the go to market sales process and facilitate discussion of specific issues confronting participating entrepreneurs from the group.

Sales strategy is a vital component, but often-overlooked piece of the startups’ business commercialization plan, he said. It determines who, why and how fast prospects will become customers.

The roundtable discussion is intended for current entrepreneurs and startup teams, as well as individuals in established companies or research institutions focused on developing new ventures.
