Advantage Health Adds Offices
Advantage Health Physicians this fall broke ground on a pair of office buildings that will serve the eastern part of Kent County.
The new facilities are located at 1471 East Beltline Ave. NE in Grand Rapids Township and at 10047 Cross Road Court in Caledonia.
Dr. David Blair, medical director and president of Advantage Health Physicians, remarked, “For the East Beltline groundbreaking, the shovel was already in the trunk of my car from the last groundbreaking 30 days ago. We broke ground in Caledonia in September, and now we break ground on this beautiful new multifaceted medical center that will provide the east side with a variety of comprehensive health services. In light of the pace at which Advantage Heath Physicians is growing, I may just leave the shovel in the trunk of my car from now on.”
The new 28,000-square-foot medical office building on the East Beltline will replace the existing Advantage Health Physicians office that has been serving the east side of the county for many years.
Nine physicians will provide primary care in the new two-story complex and a Saint Mary’s OB-GYN specialist will augment the medical team. The medical office building will also contain a Saint Mary’s Health Care lab, an aesthetics clinic offering medically based skin and facial treatments, and radiology services. Future plans call for further expansion with room for other medical, weight-loss, and health and wellness services.
The new East Beltline Advantage Health Physicians medical office building is scheduled for completion in November 2007.
Advantage Health Physicians has been serving the health care needs of the Caledonia community for more than 10 years. The new 14,000-square-foot medical office building will replace the existing office at 9090 South Rodgers Court, and provide Caledonia area residents the latest in cutting-edge medical technology.
In addition to primary care, the new medical complex will include Saint Mary’s Health Care lab and radiology services; Rehab Pros will provide rehabilitation services at the facility, as well.
“Caledonia, like many of the communities south of Grand Rapids, is growing rapidly,” Blair said. “Advantage Health is dedicated to providing easy access to top quality, comprehensive primary care throughout the region, and this new, larger office building is another step toward fulfilling this mission.”
The new Advantage Health Physicians medical office building in Caledonia is scheduled for completion in spring of 2007.
