SMGs Heart Is Here
Sheryl Favreau Rittenhouse was chosen to receive the brand new employee recognition honor over thousands of employees who work in the 200 buildings the firm manages.
"This is the inaugural award," said SMG General Manager Rich MacKeigan.
MacKeigan and SMG Vice President of Convention Centers Bob McClintock presented Favreau Rittenhouse with a Heart of SMG crystal paperweight and a $250 American Express Gift Check at last week's Convention and Arena Authority meeting.
"Sheryl, you do us proud, and we're delighted that you're with us," said CAA Chairman Steven Heacock.

"We're there whether they can pay (for care) or not pay, whether they're home or in a nursing home," she said.
Favreau Rittenhouse started at Hospice after her mother passed away on Christmas Eve in 2004 from gall bladder cancer, a fairly rare type of cancer. Her mother was diagnosed with the disease after undergoing an examination for back pain. Favreau Rittenhouse took her mother into her house to care for her and contacted Hospice to help her with that care.
"My goal is to work with every hospice patient. I know that's impossible, but I want to give it a try," she said.
