FDA OKs Perrigo Product

ALLEGAN — Perrigo has received final approval from the Food and Drug Administration to manufacture and market Ciclopirox Topical Solution 8 percent, the therapeutic equivalent of Penlac Nail Lacquer made by Sanofi-Aventis U.S., which is used to treat mild to moderate fungal infections of the fingernails and toenails.

Brand sales of Penlac were $92 million for the last 12 months ending August 2007.
