Priority Adds To Its SE Network
GRAND RAPIDS — Priority Health has added a practice of more than 130 physicians to its network in Southeast Michigan, the first such contract it has secured since entering that market earlier this year.
Integrated Health Associates, with 27 centers in that area, also employs 41 nurse practitioners, physician’s assistants and nurse midwives.
“Priority Health has an excellent statewide reputation for high-quality performance and great member satisfaction,” said Dr. Robert Breakey, IHA board chairman.
Priority Health now has more than 550,000 members and access to 10,000 doctors and nearly 100 hospitals in Michigan. Majority-owned by Spectrum Health, the health coverage provider purchased Care Choices from Novi-based Trinity Health in early 2007.
