Marketing Firm Growing In Ada

ADA — A small but growing marketing company recently celebrated its move into new digs with a party that drew 75 people.

Samantha Toth, president of Innereactive Media, said her firm has renovated 1,200 square feet at 489 Pettis Ave. SE, Ada. Toth started the company in Lansing in 2003 with only herself on the payroll. Today, the graduate of Caledonia High School and Michigan State University employs four people.

With about 50 clients across the U.S., Innereactive specializes in working on marketing and advertising plans for small and medium companies, especially those in optometry.

“We help the client determine who their most profitable target is,” said Toth, who moved to Ada after getting married recently. “We help them examine their marketplace, help them determine their niche audience and help them design a marketing strategy plan.”

Toth grew up in optometry, with her parents, her grandfather and an uncle in the industry. Toth said she spent eight years working in it, as well, in addition to two years at a Lansing market firm. At MSU, she was trained in marketing, graphic design, and video and Web production.

“It gives us a unique understanding to market health care as a whole,” Toth said.

Certified to provide continuing education for doctors in the optical field, Toth travels around the country to teach health care professionals how to market their own practices.

“We have been aggressive with our own marketing to diversify our client list,” Toth added.
