PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP — Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids recently opened its second largest store in the metro area at Plainfield Avenue and Four Mile Road.

The 14,000-square-foot building features a retail center, an optical center, an in-store processing center and a drive-thru donation center. Goodwill is expected to create 10 new jobs at the new store, it 12th in the region.

“Donations made at this location will help support our mission of providing job training and placement services to individuals with employment barriers throughout the eight counties we serve,” said Dave Brinza, Goodwill Industries COO.

Progressive AE designed the $1.2 million Goodwill store and Rockford Construction managed the project.
