ADA — A British court has dismissed all government claims against Amway (UK) Ltd., ending a lengthy dispute over the way Amway’s  independent business owners conduct  business.

Amway volunteered to make a series of reforms over the past year, and the High Court declared the company could continue doing business in the United Kingdom. The judge did express his belief that Amway allowed “misrepresentations” of its business by independent business owners in years past, but the court did not act against those misrepresentations. He said the “radical changes” introduced by the company in the past year remedied earlier faults. According to the company, the judge wrote that the reformed Amway business is "full formulated, comprehensive, open and transparent and capable of effective and ongoing implementation without supervision.”
