Metro Health reorganizes, Some jobs cut, sources say
Metro Health said in a statement today the hospital has undergone a reorganization.
Sources said some positions have been cut.
“This move is part of a larger transformation, which is best exemplified by our move to the new health village,” the statement reads, referring to Metro Health’s move one year ago to anchor the 170-acres Metro Health Village in Wyoming. “Metro Health is strong and sound. By any measure, patient utilization of our healthcare services at the new hospital has exceeded expectations.”
A spokesperson confirmed that Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations Jim Childress is among those whose job was eliminated.
