Lake Michigan Credit Union has opened it newest branch in the “Medical Mile” on the southwest corner of Michigan Street and Prospect Avenue NE.

The branch is designed as a full-service operation and includes a 24/7 access ATM, two drive-thru lanes, five teller stations, and offices for new accounts, loans, mortgages, insurance and investment opportunities.

“This is a very unique branch. Not only will it house tellers and customer service reps for traditional banking services, it will also provide offices for our growing mortgage, insurance and investment services divisions,” said Julie Blitchok, vice president of operations and marketing at LMCU.

“We have looked at the overall growth of downtown and know where we need to be to provide the most optimal service. With our history of serving the healthcare field, the positioning of this branch is critical as Grand Rapids expands services to build a medical mile,” she added.

Hours at the new branch are Monday-Thursday 9-5:30, Friday 9-6 and Saturday 9-1. BJ
