Real estate trends, tricks showcased at statewide event

The 22nd annual University of Michigan & Urban Land Institute Real Estate Forum held in Grand Rapids last month brought together representatives of many aspects of commercial real estate in Michigan. The week featured bus tours for an executive exchange going back and forth from Grand Rapids and Detroit, as well as tours focusing on real estate endeavors in Grand Rapids. Among those taking part were, Lamont Walker, Michael Hawkins and Michael Parry at right, boarding a bus; Guy Bazzani, Bazzani Associates, below, leading a roundtable on “Green Buildings as and Investment Property”; and (bottom) Duke Suwyn, Grubb & Ellis|Paramount Commerce, and Aaron Young, The Wisinski Group, speak at a session honoring winners of the real estate excellence awards.
