Herman Miller management changed up

ZEELAND — Herman Miller is in the midst of a management shuffle an effort to strengthen core customer relationships while also capitalizing on current market opportunities.

According to a news release, with the departure of Kris Manos, who is leaving the company to pursue other interests, Curt Pullen, the company’s CFO, will now head the North American Office and Learning Business.

Pullen will be replaced as CFO by Greg Bylsma, who formerly held the title of corporate controller. Kathy Koch, senior vice president of marketing, has joined the executive leadership team and will now report directly to CEO Brian Walker. She will be charged with enhancing the Herman Miller brand across a wide range of purchasers.

A new business unit has been created with a focus on revenues to the architecture, design, and retail segments. The goal will be to deliver more products to individual buyers, interior designers, architects, and corporate buyers and will be led by Steve Gane. Gane is president of Geiger international Inc., a subsidiary of Herman Miller.  This will add Herman Miller for the Home to his portfolio of responsibilities.
