Appreciation for 40 Under 40
I want to thank you for naming me to the 2010 class of 40 Under 40. What a terrific honor. It means a great deal to be listed among such an esteemed group of local leaders.
On behalf of our community’s nonprofit sector and as director of nonprofit services and development for the Johnson Center for Philanthropy, I want to extend my sincere appreciation to Grand Rapids Business Journal for recognizing so many young nonprofit leaders in this year’s 40 Under 40 class. They include: Bridget Clark Whitney, Kids Food Basket; Latricia Trice, Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce; Rachel Hood, West Michigan Environmental Action Council; Rosalynn Bliss, D.A. Blodgett/St. John’s Home; Stacy Stout, Hispanic Center of Western Michigan; and Steve Faber, Friends of Grand Rapids Parks.
These individuals are truly amazing. They work tirelessly to make Grand Rapids the exciting, innovative and caring community that we know and love. Thanks for recognizing so many nonprofit leaders.
