New purchase grows company

Imperial announced last week that is has acquired D. Anderson & Co., boosting its services in recruitment and retention of patients for clinical trials around the world.

“Independently, each company is a global leader respected for quality, integrity and ingenuity. Together, we are a global force, with the capacity to serve clinical trial sponsors regardless of need, size, location or disease sector,” said Imperial President and CEO Matthew Bissell.

Imperial already provides clinical research support services in 82 countries. Services include graphic design, print production, translation and electronic information storage for clinical trials in a package of services called iWoRx. It also has offices in Pennsylvania and the United Kingdom.

D. Anderson is based in Dallas and for 19 years has worked in the U.S., Europe, Asia and the Pacific Rim for clinical trials, patient recruitment and retention campaigns, project management, creative services and clinical staff training. The company’s international work has grown significantly in the past three years.

It is a subsidiary of D.L. Anderson International, which is certified as a Woman-Owned Business by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.

Terms were not disclosed.
