Price Heneveld names management committee
Grand Rapids-based intellectual property law firm Price Heneveld has selected its new management committee.
Effectively immediately, Kevin Grzelak will chair the committee, and attorneys Tod Van Thomme and Matthew Gipson will join him on the panel.
Grzelak’s practice includes all areas of intellectual property including patent, trademark and copyright matters. His focus is in the procurement, licensing and enforcement of patents for electrical and computer hardware and software-related inventions, electrical controls, automotive electronics, electrochemical cells, optical signal devices, manufacturing systems and methods, and mechanical devices.
Van Thomme’s practice covers the entire intellectual property lifecycle, from procuring patents, trademarks and other intellectual property to licensing intellectual property to resolving intellectual property and Internet-related disputes. His science specialty areas include pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, food science, polymer chemistry and Internet technologies.
Gipson's focus is in the procurement, licensing and enforcement of patents for chemical, bio-tech and mechanical inventions; patent, trademark and copyright litigation; and registration and enforcement of trademarks.
The firm was founded in Grand Rapids in 1952 and specializes in patent, trademark and copyright causes, technology-related law, international trade law, unfair competition, trade secrets, antitrust matters and related law.
