Foreway receives border certification

Foreway Transportation has received Partners In Protection certification from the Canada Border Services Agency.

A commitment to national security and a desire to eliminate costly delays associated with border crossings led Foreway to seek PIP and Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) certification, said CEO Pam Hassevoort. These certifications allow for faster shipment processing and increased security levels. Both certifications encourage continuous education of employees on custom requirements, continuous security process, and a commitment to fight terrorism, freight tampering and drug trafficking.

She said Foreway plans to continue to work with customers and employees to increase safety and security procedures.
