Grand Rapids ranks as seventh 'happiest' city for workers
Disneyland may have to start sharing its beloved slogan, “The happiest place on earth,” with Grand Rapids.
The city ranked No. 7 overall on a list of “The Happiest Cities to Work in," which is featured at Forbes.com and was conducted by CareerBliss.com.
The list is based on more than 36,000 independent employee reviews between November 2011 and November 2012, according to Forbes.
The study scored cities based on emplyoyees' evaluation of 10 workplace factors, Forbes reports: relationship with the boss and co-workers, work environment, job resources, compensation, growth, opportunities, company culture, company reputation, daily tasks and control over work.
Anaheim, Calif., didn't make the list. Sorry, Mickey.
The study also produced a list of the "The Unhappiest Cities to Work in."
