Commercial Alliance of Realtors awards span across market
Colliers International of West Michigan was honored six times by the Commercial Alliance of Realtors at its Annual Awards Reception on Tuesday night — while Mary Anne Wisinski-Rosely of NAI Wisinski West Michigan was named Realtor of the Year at the event.
Colliers International won the Transaction of the Year Award for its sale of the 915,000 square foot manufacturing building at 4700 Broadmoor Ave. in Kentwood. Duke Suwyn, John Kuiper and Colin Kraay, all of Colliers, also picked up the Biggest Industrial Sale Award for the same transaction.
Colliers International earned the Biggest Office Lease Award when David Weiner, Chip Bowling and Bill Bowling recently leased 39,000 square feet in Bridgewater Place to Spectrum Health. Jodi Milks in the Kalamazoo office of Colliers International picked up the Biggest Retail Lease Award for a transaction involving space on South Westnedge Avenue in Portage.
Earl Clements, Tom DeBoer and Steve Marcusse, all of Colliers International, won the award for the Biggest Land Sale. The trio sold 233 acres in Walker.
Kwekel’s Klaasen earned his second honor of the night for the Biggest Multifamily Sale, which involved selling four apartment complexes in the region.
The Biggest Office Sale Award went to the Colliers International team of Ray Kisor, Kraay, Weiner, Suwyn and Bill and Chip Bowling for selling 99 Monroe in downtown Grand Rapids.
Van Martin and Robert Lotzar of CB Richard Ellis of Grand Rapids earned the Biggest Retail Sale Award for their transaction involving the Rogers Plaza Town Center.
Jill Langosch, also of CBRE, was named Assistant of the Year, Rod Unema of Exxel Engineering picked up CAR’s Affiliate Service Achievement Award and John Francis of Prime Development was honored with the Politics Achievement Award.
