Greatland acquires ExpressTaxForms.com and ExpressChecks.com
Greatland Corp. in Walker has announced its acquisition of ExpressTaxForms.com and ExpressChecks.com from Portland, Ore.-based Express Internet Companies.com. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Both brands, in operation since 1997, are online organizations that provide small and mid-size businesses around the nation with W-2 and 1099 forms, as well as custom checks and other banking forms.
Greatland bills itself as “the W-2 & 1099 specialist” for small to mid-size businesses and accountants.
Greatland and its subsidiaries — including Nelco, FileTaxes.com and Broker Forms — provide W-2 and 1099 forms and software, online filing, business checks, check-writing software and presentation materials.
In the weeks ahead, customers of the newly acquired sites will be transitioned to Greatland, and business operations will be relocated to Greatland’s Walker headquarters.
The change will mean an expanded range of product and services from ExpressTaxForms.com and ExpressChecks.com, including full state reporting support as well as software and mobile apps to help make reporting easier and more efficient.
ExpressTaxForms.com and ExpressChecks.com “have been a trusted resource for small and mid-size businesses for more than 16 years, and we are looking forward to building on their established commitment to their customers,” said Robert Nault, Greatland CEO.
Greatland was formed in 1974 and is an employee-owned company with a second location in Green Bay, Wis. Greatland has 175 employee owners, according to its website.
