Applied Imaging is now two companies with one name.

Applied Imaging, an office technology solutions provider, has officially merged with Michigan Business Systems, a service provider for documentation needs and office equipment leasing outlet, as of Jan. 31.

Applied Imaging retains all the MBS service personnel in the merger, which should result in a seamless transition for customers, according to an Applied Imaging announcement.

“I chose to merge with Applied Imaging, because of their progressive way of doing business and to expand opportunities for our clients and employees,” said John Spitzig, MBS president. “Our clients now have access to a wider range of advanced technology from world-famous companies like Canon, Ricoh and Kyocera. This will help them to be more productive and profitable.

"In addition, Applied Imaging has an amazing internal culture and work environment, and this will help to advance the careers of our employees,” Spitzig said.
