Change Ups: Insurance CEO recognized for contributions
Retiring Fremont Insurance Co. CEO Richard Dunning was recognized for his contributions and service to the independent insurance agency system by the 167 independent insurance agencies representing Fremont. A $8,270 donation was made in his honor to United Way of the Lakeshore – New County. The Fremont-based company provides property and casualty insurance to individuals, farms and small businesses.
The Michigan Farm Bureau honored the Ottawa County Farm Bureau with its Excellence in Grassroots Lobbying Award for its lobbying efforts on behalf of its farmer members at the local, state and national level.
