Digital advertising agency Biggs|Gilmore has been named the top advertising agency in the 2013 Internet Advertising Competition.

The company, which has offices in Kalamazoo and Chicago, took the top slot for the fourth time in five years.

The agency was awarded one Best of Show award, eight Best of Industry awards and 16 Outstanding awards — as well as the top overall honor.

Entries were judged based on creativity, innovation, impact, design, copywriting, use of the medium and memorability.

"This is what's possible when 150 talented people work together to bring powerful ideas to life," said Andy Gould, senior vice president and executive creative director.

The awards received by Biggs|Gilmore represented its work with 11 different brands.

The Internet Advertising Competition is sponsored by the Web Marketing Association to honor excellence in online advertising, recognize the individuals and organizations responsible, and showcase the best in award-winning Internet advertising.

It is the first and only competition dedicated exclusively to online advertising, honoring the best of the best across 96 industries and nine online formats, including online ads, video, mobile, newsletters, email campaigns and social media.
