GRandJazzFest has announced the lineup for its free two-day festival, being held on Aug. 17-18 at Rosa Parks Circle in downtown Grand Rapids.

Chicago-based guitarist and vocalist Nick Colionne will headline the festival, which is presented by DTE Energy Foundation.

“We’re so excited to be expanding the festival and bringing internationally known jazz guitarist and vocalist Nick Colionne and his band to Grand Rapids to headline our festival,” said Audrey Sundstrom, GRandJazzFest founder. “The complete lineup is an eclectic offering that expresses the full diversity of the jazz art form.”

This is GRandJazzFest’s second year. In addition to expanding to two days, this year’s festival will include 10 acts, as well as a student jazz jam session.
