Ford airport flies nonstop to D.C. via United Airlines

Gerald R. Ford International Airport has announced that United Airlines is offering nonstop service from the airport to Washington, D.C., beginning today.

The airport reports that based on passenger volume, Washington, D.C., is the 16th-largest market for Ford.It had previously been the third-largest market without nonstop service.

United previously announced several service expansions from airports around the country, including the Washington, D.C., service.

Ford airport now offers nonstop service to 23 major destinations across the United States, with six of those destinations served by United Airlines.
