Steelcase brand searches for 'Best Young Companies to Work For'
Steelcase’s small business brand, turnstone, has launched a nationwide search to discover innovative and forward-thinking young companies for its inaugural “Best Young Companies to Work For” campaign.
“Young companies that are truly succeeding recognize the significance of workplace culture, in addition to bottom-line results,” said Kevin Kuske, general manager and chief anthropologist for turnstone. “They understand how to foster collaboration, attract and retain top talent and enhance well-being.
Kuske said the “Best Young Companies to Work For” campaign is designed to find “companies that are not only getting the job done, but also stand out in their efforts to create a work environment that helps amplify the performance of its people.”
Turnstone is looking for companies that demonstrate excellence in a number of areas: positive work culture, forward-thinking leadership, talent retention, business innovation, community outreach and workspace planning and design.
A panel of judges will select the companies, including the best of the best.
The 2013 “Best Young Companies to Work For” will be announced in September.

Companies must be less than 10 years old and employ no more than 100 people to be considered.
Employees cannot nominate their own company.
