A husband-and-wife team is opening the doors to their brewery for the first time on Saturday.

The grand opening of Ada-based Gravel Bottom Craft Brewery & Supply will feature more than 700 gallons of beer: a black IPA, pale ale, wit, porter, grapefruit IPA, imperial IPA and an ESB.

The brewery will also feature a home brew supply store, which will encourage beer-related discussion, as well as a special guest homebrewer tap.

Gravel Bottom is owned by Matt Michiel and his wife, Erica.

Matt Michiel is a former commercial auditor who moved to Seattle, before moving back to Michigan in 2011.

Gravel Bottom Craft Brewery & Supply, located at 418 Ada Dr. SE, will be open Wednesday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. and Friday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-12 a.m., according to its Facebook page.
