‘Pure Michigan’ launches ad campaign

LANSING — The state's "Pure Michigan" tourism campaign is getting ready to launch its winter advertising effort.

Travel Michigan, which is part of the Michigan Economic Development Corp., said that TV, radio and billboard ads will begin on Dec. 30 — in key markets in the Midwest and parts of Canada.

The winter TV and radio ads will run through the end of January.

The campaign involves partners, including some cities, attractions and industry groups.

Travel Michigan said the 2013 Pure Michigan Winter Travel Guide is also available, offering ideas for winter travel activities.
