A growing professional search and consulting firm has relocated its headquarters.

Northeast space

iMPact Business Group, which was formerly headquartered in Grand Rapids, at 4150 E. Beltline Ave. NE, can now be found about two miles away at the Evergreen Office Suites, at 3225 N. Evergreen Drive NE.

At 2,800 square feet, the new office space will allow the firm to accommodate its expected growth.

“Currently, we have 16 internal employees in GR, with a hire target of an additional 25 percent for 2014,” said Rebecca Gibbs, iMPact Business Group’s marketing manager.

During its nine-year history, iMPact has expanded its offices in Michigan, Florida and North Carolina. The company has more than 150 total employees countrywide.

“We are excited to move forward and grow iMPact Business Group even more,” said Mike Trewhella, founder and president of iMPact Business Group. “The new office space will allow for additional employee amenities, a recreation area and expansion of space by over 60 percent."

Trewhella added that the additional space will help the firm better serve clients and engage with candidates.

Growth

“We expect to continue our double-digit growth each year going forward,” Trewhella said.

The firm is expecting an increased demand for its services in 2014 of 15 to 20 percent.

“We are positioned well from a delivery standpoint to accomplish this,” Gibbs said. “The markets we serve have displayed significant demand in the contractual and direct placement areas.”

The company’s specialty areas include information technology, engineering, finance and accounting.

The move comes as the company prepares to celebrate its 10th anniversary, which will be in November.
