An energy-management supplier is expanding its portfolio by acquisition.

Three Rivers-based Armstrong International, a maker of energy-management equipment for various industries, said this month that it has acquired Niwot, Colo.-based Veris, a maker of flow-measurement instruments for gas, steam and hot water applications.

Veris also has operations in Shanghai, China.

The Veris name and its operating locations will remain, and its product line, including Verabar and Accelabar, will “enhance the full line of solutions already available from Armstrong.”

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Veris not only shares our commitment to delivering energy-saving solutions to its customers, they also share our core values that contribute to creating an enjoyable experience for our customers,” said Patrick Armstrong, president and CEO of Armstrong Global Holdings.

Founded in 1900, Armstrong is a family owned company, currently in its fifth generation of ownership.
