Inforum names VP of corporate engagement
Inforum is bulking up its West Michigan presence as part of its three-year strategic plan to deepen its relationships with Michigan companies.
The Detroit-based nonprofit that works to advance careers for women has just hired Catherine Rogg to fill the newly created position of vice president, corporate engagement in the Grand Rapids office.
Rogg will be the relationship lead for companies, serving as one of the most-visible faces for the organization in West Michigan and across the state.
Today is her first day on the job.
Inforum said that Rogg brings versatile development experience to the role, including strategic planning, program development, major and planned giving, business development and client relations.
Most recently, Rogg was director of alumni relations at Davenport University, where she re-established a complete alumni relations program to re-engage the school’s 57,000 alumni.
Previously, Rogg was the assistant head of the school and director of development at University Liggett School, which has an endowment of $43 million.
In her role at the pre-K-12 school, Inforum said Rogg was instrumental in restoring the school’s development program.
“Cathie's deep background in development and client relations will be an asset as we work with companies to boost their talent initiatives and deliver even greater value,” said Inforum President and CEO Terry Barclay. “Her background of having lived and worked in several communities in Michigan will be an advantage in this new statewide role.”
