A national outdoor-lifestyle retailer has remodeled one of its stores in the region.

Gander Mountain said recently that it has renovated the interior of its Grandville store, at 4655 Canal Ave. SW.

The St. Paul, Minn.-based retailer sells a range of outdoor-lifestyle products in several sections: hunting, fishing, camping, boating, auto and RV, firearms, apparel and footwear.

“The original Grandville store opened in 2001 and needed some attention to bring it up to date with Gander Mountain’s new look,” said Jess Myers, a Gander Mountain spokesperson.

The Grandville remodel is part of “dozens of major remodeling projects” at the chain’s stores, said David Pratt, CEO, Gander Mountain.

Gander Mountain, founded in 1960, operates 131 stores in 24 states.

Contractor

TCI, a contractor in La Crosse, Wis., performed most of the remodeling work over the winter, Myers said.

TCI has worked on dozens of projects for Gander Mountain around the country, including building stores from the ground up.
