Third Coast Development has found a new partner.

Grand Rapids-based Third Coast Development said yesterday that it has named Max Benedict partner.

Benedict was a project manager at Third Coast Development and joined the firm in 2006.

The firm said he will be responsible for "seeking out and determining feasible development opportunities" and working with municipalities on incentive packages for Third Coast Development projects.

Benedict previously served as a commercial sales agent with The Wisinski Group, business operations manager for 2/90 Sign Systems and principal at Benedict Ventures.

He serves on the city of Kentwood’s Zoning Board of Appeals.

He’s also a member of MENSA.

Benedict received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Michigan State University.

"Third Coast Development is delighted to have Max as a full partner of the firm,” said Dave Levitt, partner, Third Coast Development. “Max has the unique ability to manage the small details, while never losing sight of the big picture. He is wise beyond his years.”
