An award-winning craft spirits maker is adding three drinks to its portfolio.

New Holland Artisan Spirits said last month that it will release three products this spring: an orange liqueur, Clockwork Orange, and two barrel-aged drinks, Knickerbocker Barrel Gin and Barreled Hatter Royale, a whiskey.

The spirits maker called the batch of products new releases for 2014.

Orange liqueur

“Citrus flavor is a bedrock of classic cocktails, and traditionally, the best orange liqueurs have been imported from France,” said Fred Bueltmann, vice president of sales and marketing, New Holland Brewing Co. “Necessity is the mother of all invention, I guess, and since our pub is limited by law to only serve the spirits we make, we set out to make the best American craft orange liqueur we could imagine.”

Barrel-aged spirits

The two barrel-aged products are variations of New Holland Artisan Spirits’ Knickerbocker Barrel Gin and Hatter Royale.

“For New Holland, distilling has always included exploration of flavor, process and barrel aging,” said Brett VanderKamp, president and co-founder, New Holland Brewing. “Knickerbocker gin and Hatter Royale, our hopped whiskey, have been standouts in our spirits lineup. After some very small batch barrel aging of these brands, we knew we had to find a way to share them with more people.”
