The region’s home builders are ready to show off some of their best work.

There will be 78 homes ranging in price from $100,000 to more than $1 million featured in this year’s Grand Rapids Spring Parade of Homes, presented by the Home Builders Association of Greater Grand Rapids.

The event runs Friday through June 7.

Communities

The parade will feature homes in 19 communities through the region: Ada, Allendale, Alto, Belmont, Byron Center, Caledonia, Cascade, Coopersville, Lowell, Kentwood, Grand Rapids, East Grand Rapids, Grand Haven, Grandville, Holland, Hudsonville, Jenison, Rockford, West Olive and Wyoming.

Builders will showcase the latest trends in custom details, floor coverings, wall treatments, landscaping, green practices and more.

There are four more homes in this year’s spring tour than last year.

“It confirms our projections for new construction activity this year, and we are looking forward to a very busy spring,” said Emily Lubbers, executive officer, Home Builders Association of Greater Grand Rapids.

Hours

Home tours will be from 1-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Memorial Day during the event.

Remodeled homes will be showcased from 1-9 p.m. on June 6-7.

Tickets

Tickets for tours are free for children 12 and under and $12 for people 13 and older.

More information about the event, including a tour map, is online.
