A restaurant group is opening its newest restaurant today — with a 180-bottle wine list on the menu.

RedWater Restaurant Group’s Vintage restaurant in Grand Rapids will open its doors today, featuring steak, seafood and wine, at 5500 Cascade Rd. SE.

The restaurant is located next to the group's Cork Wine & Grille.

Vintage was created to be a “top-shelf restaurant experience” and destination in the Ada and Cascade area, said Craig Smith, chief operating officer, RedWater Restaurant Group.

The restaurant features a newly designed patio with fire pits, outdoor after-dinner lounging and views.

Vintage’s menu was created by award-winning chef Glenn Forgie, of the group’s Reds on the River.

Forgie said he believes the menu will help Vintage become “a standout restaurant for Grand Rapids.”

“From all of the feedback we’ve received from our test dinners prior to opening, I believe we’ve hit the mark with Vintage,” Forgie said.

Vintage will be open from 5-10 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday.

The group encourages people to make reservations by calling (616) 949-0570.
