An officer furniture dealer is rolling out an interior construction management division.

Custer in Grand Rapids said yesterday that it has created the division 217 Management as a complement to its portfolio of interior design services and products.

217 Management is staffed with experienced and qualified workers from the construction field, said Brad Laackman, director of interior construction services, 217 Management.

Renovations

217 Management will serve clients throughout the entirety of an interior renovation project by overseeing the facility planning, construction and technology integration.

Custer said 217 Management will coordinate the interior construction schedule, budget and contractors to "deliver a seamless experience."

Laackman called the division a “growth response to customer needs.”

“Our customers are asking for a single contact to manage their interior renovation needs,” Laackman said. “We now have the staff to appropriately respond to the complex administration, management and coordination needs that these projects call for.”
