Visitors to downtown Grand Rapids will be accompanied by smooth music this weekend.

The third annual GRandJazzFest will take place Saturday and Sunday at Rosa Parks Circle. The festival is free.

Headliners for the festival include Rick Braun and Alexander Zonjic.

Braun has toured with Rod Stewart, War, Sade, Tina Turner, Natalie Cole and Tom Petty for nearly 20 years. He headlines Saturday night with his trumpet skills, which have landed him atop contemporary jazz charts numerous times throughout his career.

Zonjic, an acclaimed flutist with several years of orchestral experience, headlines Sunday night. He has performed with The Detroit Symphony Orchestra, The Windsor Symphony Orchestra, The Florida Symphony Orchestra, and many more. The musician started his career as a rock guitarist but has released six classical albums.
