A grand opening ceremony is taking place today for a marketing and customer engagement solution provider in Grand Rapids.

Dialog Direct will be hosting the grand opening of its first Grand Rapids contact center at 4 p.m., Sept. 3, at its new 20,000-square-foot facility, 2905 Lucerne Drive SE in Cascade Township. The facility has space to be expanded to about 30,000 square feet, housing a total of 400 employees, according to its website.

The invite-only grand opening event is expected to host about 200 political, development and business leaders, including Gov. Rick Snyder, Michigan Economic Development Corp. President and CEO Michael Finney and Dialog Direct President and CEO Douglas Kearney. Matt Zemon, chairman of the nonprofit group Jobs4America, also will give the state of Michigan a “Spirit of America” award, according to a release. The award is in honor of the Snyder administration’s assistance with helping Jobs4America reach its goal of creating and “re-shoring” 100,000 customer service jobs.

Dialog Direct, based in Highland Park, employs about 2,000 workers in Michigan. It also has a 600-person contact center in Holland at 1351 S. Waverly Road, as well as locations in Troy and Auburn Hills.

“We help many of the best known brands connect and engage with their customers and prospects to attract more leads, generate more revenue and improve the overall customer experience,” reads its website. “We do this by creating relevant, personalized and ongoing dialogue throughout the entire B2B2C or B2C customer journey with our data, marketing and customer engagement competencies.”
