The local craft beer industry is coming together to field questions at the Beer City Round Table this week.

Michigan craft beer expert and Brewery Vivant sales representative Ben Darcie will moderate a panel of more than a dozen local brewers on Wednesday at The Pyramid Scheme in downtown Grand Rapids at 6 p.m.

The panel will field questions from Darcie, the audience and Twitter.

“We'll be discussing beer, brewing, our local beer culture and local ingredients,” Darcie said.

Local beer enthusiasts will join the panel as guest moderators: MLive writer John Gonzalez and chef Amy Sherman.

Darcie has said he plans on having more discussions like this in other cities across the state.

Tickets to the round table are $10 and can be purchased at Brewery Vivant and The Pyramid Scheme.

Doors open at 6 p.m. The event will start 6:30 p.m. and likely wrap up by 9 p.m.
