Santa is coming to town tomorrow.

The Art Van Santa Parade will begin at 9 a.m. and wind through downtown Grand Rapids — from Monroe and Michigan past Rosa Parks Circle, ending at the corner of Market and Weston.

The annual Art Van Santa Parade is presented by the Grand Rapids Jaycees.

115 entries

The theme of this year’s parade is “The Songs and Sounds of Christmas.”

Santa will ride a new Santa float, which positions the historic Jaycees’ sleigh above a snow-covered depiction of the Grand River and the Blue Bridge.

Santa will be joined by 115 other entries in the parade.

The grand marshal is Disney star and model Alexandria DeBerr, who plays “Paisley” on the show “A.N.T. Farm” on the Disney Channel.

The parade has been a Grand Rapids tradition since the late 1800s and was designed to kick off the holiday season.

Art Van was added as the title sponsor in 2010.
